Can CBA help me get involved in volunteer work?

We are very proud of the fact that so many of our students are as enthusiastic as we are about helping others! Because of this, we work closely with many different organizations so that we’re able to place you in a position that perfectly suits your abilities and interests.

We coordinate volunteer work in fields such as:
  • Healthcare
  • Education
  • Orphanages
  • Environment
  • Tourism
  • Community development
  • Project management
  • Habitat for humanity
  • Agriculture
  • And the list goes on…
We maintain an excellent relationship with numerous contacts and organizations because of our strict adherence to the highest ethical standards. Unlike other Spanish schools, we refuse to turn something as sensitive as volunteer work into a lucrative business. Because we understand this sensitivity, it is not necessary to attend our school to volunteer. All are welcome! However, students and nonstudents alike will not be placed in a position for which they aren’t qualified (i.e. premed students giving medical exams). That being said, you shouldn’t be discouraged if you aren’t necessarily “qualified” to work in the field in which you’re interested; it will just limit what you’re allowed to do depending on the ethical sensitivity of that particular field (i.e. premed students observing Guatemalan physicians).
If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact us and/or register well in advance so that we have enough time to make appropriate arrangements, contact different organizations, etc.
